He created his popular BUCKLEUPALLOFUS Child Passenger Safety Cartoon Character to help teach kids about the importance of Buckle Up! Safety in family vehicles. Jim has received numerous Awards, Honors, Certificates of Appreciation and even a Citizen Service Medal from local, state and federal child safety advocates, police departments and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), The US Department of Transportation and Safe Kids Worldwide, located in Washington, DC. for years of creative dedication to help keep kids safer on New England and America’s roadways for nearly two decades.
